Today was AWESOME! We had an assembly in the morning where we learned about Mr. Ashton's trip to North Korea and we learned more about our field trip at Maple House. At 12:10, we left for Itaewon! We got to Maple House around 12:40 and immediately ordered some great Canadian food. The owner was kind enough to pay for all the students drinks. We tried poutine, nanaimo bars, beaver tails and smores. It was a great experience for everyone.

Some students ended up changing topics but everyone got a good start today. After P.E. we went to the rooftop to read and play games with our buddies in Grade 1A. In the afternoon, we talked about Cartiers second journey in 1535 and practicing writing compound sentences.
