During The One and Only Ivan this morning, we found out that Stella is very sick and that Ruby was once saved by humans. In writing we learned about the importance of writing strong topic sentences and supporting details. Science was spent in the great outdoors! Fortunately it was raining so we were able to make lots of observations about the weather with our senses. Students are to set a weekly goal of AT LEAST 120 minutes. This includes reading by themselves, getting read to, reading to a sibling or parent etc. This does not include reading done in class; only at home reading.
