Today the Grades 4-9 went to see the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. We learned all about the different instruments and listened to three really great pieces. Ms. Wright's favourite was the song from West Side Story. Also, a young boy (around 10 years old) conducted the orchestra for the last song!
HOMEWORK ELA: Reading Log Grammar Pages Spelling Test Ms. Wright has decided that in preparation for Grade 5, she will be giving students more homework and responsibility. Every night students will be required to complete the daily homework and make sure to bring it the following day. If students do not finish or forget one piece of homework, they will stay in for 15 minutes detention. Two pieces of homework = 30 minutes detention. On Monday, almost all the class had detention. Today only half. We are learning and improving! Ms. Wright looks forward to the changes.
