In Social Studies this morning, we started a new project: acrostic poems. Groups got together to discuss a key word: aboriginal, technology, Europeans, or Fur Trade. In their groups, they brainstormed as much information as the could about these topics. On Friday, we will be writing our rough copies of our poem and next week we will type up our poems to display to the rest of CBIS. In Science, we discussed the different types of producers and consumers. Then we watched a short video on the Arctic and Antarctic while looking for examples of each. We saw some pretty interesting consumers and some really cute ones too!
Tomorrow is our hike to Achasan so please don't forget to come prepared for the hike. Students can bring their phones or cameras but they will be fully responsible for their damage or loss.
