In Science today, we talked about climates in different areas of both British Columbia and Korea. Ms. Wright shared a lot of connections with the textbook chapter because she grew up near Prince Rupert and went to university in Kamloops. It was fun to share with the students about each area as well as have students share about areas of Korea.
Students were so fascinated by Google Earth during Science that Ms. Wright decided students could try it out after signing out library books in the afternoon. Students looked at many different places around the world.
In Math, we reviewed strategies we have learned for multiplying by playing a couple rounds of multiplication bingo.
We were assigned our parts for our Reader's Theatre today and had a good time practising our new roles with expression, gestures and voice.
