One LARGE notebook like this: One SMALL notebook for agenda: One binder and three packs of page protectors: | Today we learned more about one of the three ingredients in weather: air. We watched a Bill Nye video about air pressure, wind speed, and direction. We learned about the instruments that measure air such as an anemometer, weather vane and barometer. If you would like to make a anemometer at home click here for an easy tutorial! Thank you to those parents who took the time to come to the Grade Level meeting today. For those of you who could not make it, I look forward to seeing you at the parent teacher conferences. I would like to request that students bring TWO more lined notebook (large and small) ONE small binder, and THREE packs of page protectors to school ASAP. We will use the large notebook for journal writing almost everyday and the small one for an agenda. The binder and page protectors will be for the start of a student portfolio.
